Is Your Call Center Ready for 2013?

Smartphone, Toll Free Numbers, Call CenterWhen it comes to business and marketing we already know that toll free numbers and targeted social media advertising are two of the most important and powerful tools available but how they are used will certainly change in the future too.

An economist with Microsoft being quizzed on technological advances for election 2020 was quoted by FoxNews.com saying, "In eight years, there's not going to be a telephone without a screen".

Between this and the likelihood all decent lead and CRM software will be tying in and pulling up prospects' social profiles most of today's call centers need to change a lot. Is your business and call center staff ready for this type of shift?

For most organizations this could mean many major changes in office structure, equipment, new hires, and where labor expenses go. Offshore call centers and VOIP will certainly still be a must to offset much of this but who will be on the phone and in front of screens may be completely different.

You can either lead in these trends and establish a lead and dominance now whether you are marketing for your own enterprise or on behalf of others, or you can be on the losing end as your business model and technology forces you into extinction.
