Leaked details of new the iPhone 5 going into production signals optimal time for businesses to roll out their mobile apps and mobile marketing campaigns…

While Apple still hasn't officially announced an iPhone 5 release date, yesterday Fox News reported a leak from a Chinese manufacturer that it is already in production with the new iPad to follow with shipping expected later this fall.

Multiple studies claim an "unprecedented demand" for the new iPhone with as many as 31% of consumers saying they plan to grab one. That's on top of the millions activated over the last three months, making up a huge percentage of Verizon and AT&T's new phone lines.

The timing of the expected launch couldn't be better for Apple with experts all anticipating this fall to be the largest smartphone season yet.

This also makes it the best time for launching mobile apps as most users download the most apps right when they get a new phone. Every small business should be working on one if they don't have one yet and this could be a pivotal, make or break season for locking in loyal customers and boosting market share.

According to Mashbable mobile app development has already become a $20 billion industry with more than half a million jobs already created and is expected to balloon to being a $100 billion business within the next three years.

Mobile app development has certainly become much less expensive but those few businesses who think they can survive and thrive without one over the next several years at least need to invest in good mix of other mobile marketing strategies to offset their disadvantage as well as opting for a premium vanity number to stand out and maintain a credible brand.
